Trauma Informed Yoga

When yoga classes are taught from a trauma-informed perspective, it has been proven to be helpful for survivors. Yoga can be both stimulating and soothing and it is important that these classes provide an opportunity for students to feel safe, soothed and secure while our qualified instructor uses trauma-informed skills to emphasize present-state awareness. Numbers of participants is limited to provide excellent service and physical distance.

NISHS offers yoga classes three times per week running for eight weeks during each season: Autumn, Winter and Spring. If you have previously taken a trauma informed yoga class at NISHS and would like to re-register for upcoming classes, please click on the link below to fill out the online forms.
