Ways to help
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can make a difference!
There are many ways to support North Island Survivors’ Healing Society to provide
professional counselling for people who have experienced various forms of trauma and abuse.
Here are some options:
Participate in our annual online auction:
Held each spring, this event relies on the contribution of gift certificates and new items from local businesses, advertising on social media, and people to buy. The auction boasts a range of practical items with broad public appeal and some items just for fun. You can help by donating, spreading the word, and purchasing items from the auction.
Donate:
Donations can be made by mail, e-transfer or through CANADA HELPS. If you would like to donate through CANADA HELPS, your charitable receipt will be available online.
If you prefer, you can donate directly by e-transferring contact@nishs.ca or by mail at:

If you are a provincial employee, donations can be made through The Provincial Employees Community Services Fund (PECSF).
Donate a Used Vehicle:

Leave a Legacy:
The easiest way to leave a legacy is to leave a bequest of money in your will or an in-kind gift such as artwork or securities.
Sponsor an Event or Dedicate Proceeds from an Event:
As well as raising funds, these events provide an opportunity for more people to hear about this important community resource.
