Consider Becoming a Board Member:

The board meets for two hours, once per month for 6 months of the year. The time estimate for this commitment is 4-6 hours per month.

If a director chooses to be on a standing committee, some months will require more time. If you would like more information to consider becoming a board member contact us for an Orientation Package.

Donate A Used Vehicle

If you have a vehicle that you no longer want or need, it can be sold effortlessly through Donate-A-Car and the proceeds will be given to NISHS. Donate-A-Car is an excellent, well established, national program that turns assets in the form of cars, boats, vans, motorcycles, trucks, SUVs and RVs into cash for registered charities. The vehicle can be newer, used, scrap or junk. Donate-A-Car will look after the details and send NISHS a cheque. We will send you a charitable tax receipt along with our gratitude.

Leave a Legacy:

As a registered charity in good standing North Island Survivors' Healing Society is able to recieve and process bequests.
The easiest way to leave a legacy is to leave a bequest of money in your will or an in-kind gift such as artwork or securities
